HuffPost has a solid anaylsis (and not the only one I’ve seen) correctly noting that Majority Leader Mitch McConnell is no Senate mastermind. He is a masterful obstructionist, but has not delivered any strategic successes on legislation. This will be a weakness that the Democrats can exploit, as Mitch cannot be an obstructionist if he is the man in charge. Unless he were to oppose the President, which seems unlikely.
